Dreaming of greener pastures on the Friday before a long weekend? According to a new list of the most expensive homes in Canada, if you've got $45 million of green in the bank, the greenest of pastures could be yours.

Point2 Homes, a real estate search portal that lists homes for sale and for rent throughout Canada, recently compiled the top 12 priciest pads on the market. The most opulent home is a Vancouver mansion valued at nearly $44,999,000 described as an "absolute masterpiece" by Realtor.ca.

The property, nearly 50,000 square feet in size, includes one acre of land, entertainment-sized rooms, wainscoting, unique curved architecture, wine cellars, oak-panelled features, an elevator and an art deco parkade. It was once the abode of a former lieutenant governor of B.C. and has been named a heritage "A" mansion, according to the real estate website.

It has 17 bedrooms, 23 baths and 6 kitchens.
