Donald Trump is the President of the United States. What do we do now? This was the question the world woke up to last Wednesday, and it seems that no one really has an answer.

National Observer is teaming up with the Green Majority to bring you podcasts about environment and energy news and in this episode we start with the only news story anyone seems to want to talk about. Or maybe the story that people don't want to talk about: The President-elect, Donald J. Trump. This time, however, from an angle even new to us. If you're looking for a Trump detox, this is it.

What does it look like to mourn for a future you fear you lost, embrace that feeling, and then turn it into something useful? We bring on Barbara Erochina, emotional wellness coach, speaker, and creator of Be With: Cards for Self Care to dig into these questions.

We also hear from Murray Reiss, an award-winning Canadian poet, and then get into a round up of science news ranging from Elon Musk's new solar panels to the recent move to ban microbeads.

But let's get back to processing Trump for a second. The fear of what his victory could mean is very real to millions of Americans and environmentalists from around the globe. For anyone who works on these issues, it was an unprecedented and unexpected blow, leaving many struggling to find ways to process what happened and how to move forward.

November 9th Protest in New York City by Rachel Maddow

These feelings have turned into protests, vigils, and more media ink than one could possibly consume. So what do we do about all these feelings?

That's what the podcast aims to answer.
