British Columbia will lift its mask mandate and capacity limits for faith gatherings on Friday, March 11, 2022, while restrictions of visitors at some long-term care facilities will be dropped, as long as they are fully vaccinated and tested for COVID-19 when entering.

Students and parents can expect a near-normal return to school in British Columbia this fall as regular activities like assemblies and field trips are phased in and any transmission of COVID-19 is monitored.

As British Columbia teachers argue for broader mask requirements in elementary schools, some families and educators say it's been easy for kids to adapt to the rules in other provinces.
