The Saskatchewan government has introduced a climate-change strategy that inches toward a price on carbon emissions, but leaves large parts of its economy untouched.

“People look at Saskatchewan generally and think that it’s a bunch of climate deniers...really it’s more, ‘How do we do it in a way that makes more sense?’”

The Calgary-based company was more than 40 minutes late to a meeting with the James Smith Cree Nation, then told it to wait until Monday for answers on its catastrophic oil spill.
