Quebec City police have confirmed they have at least two suspects in custody following a shooting at a local mosque. There are reports of multiple victims wounded and killed in the attack.
Permanent residents must present valid identification that proves their status in Canada, said Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen, and dual citizens should travel with their Canadian passport.
The University of British Columbia and the University of Montreal pulled ads in recent weeks after they became aware that their promotional material was appearing on the site.
“I think it would be fair to say starting from scratch almost, because they’re really restarting from the beginning," said National Energy Board communications officer Marc Drolet.
In the past three years, human errors — which covers everything from failing to follow procedures to using equipment improperly — has caused an average of 20 pipeline leaks per year.
So far, 174,000 litres of oil have been recovered and 185 cubic metres of contaminated soil removed from the spill in southeastern Saskatchewan, the provincial government said.
The federal Liberals plan to lift the veil of secrecy around so-called "cash-for-access" political fundraisers, but don't appear ready to outright ban the controversial practice.
