Justin Trudeau has been spared from testifying before a parliamentary committee over his controversial Bahamas vacation, as Liberals on the House of Commons ethics committee said Trudeau and can answer questions about the getaway during a cross−country town hall tour.

The prime minister doesn't have business meetings. He has relationship sessions.

"Perhaps he should consider returning... a significant part, or perhaps all of the $215,000 of taxpayers’ money that was spent in enabling his unacceptable holiday," said Conservative ethics critic Peter Kent.
