The mother of Amanda Todd who took her own life after enduring cyberbullying says it's "just surreal" that the Dutch man charged in her daughter's case has been approved for extradition to Canada.

The Supreme Court of Canada says circumstantial evidence can be enough to convict someone of possessing child pornography.

The problem is fuelled by the growth of technology allowing online anonymity, new legal hurdles for police and easier travel to places where children can be abused and photographed, the note says.
