Calgary-based energy company TransCanada Corp is facing up to $187,200 in penalties for allegedly failing to safely operate its Keystone pipeline.

"We suggest that prompt withdrawal of your complaint against [name redacted] would be the soundest way to avoid such exposure," the letter stated.
