About Aleksi Toiviainen
Aleksi Toiviainen is the strategic coordinator for Vote16 Canada, an advocacy group dedicated to extending voting rights to 16-year-olds at the federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal levels. He is also a researcher and advisor to Independent Senator Marilou McPhedran. Aleksi is pursuing an H.B.A. in Social Sciences at the University of Toronto.
Democracy will be saved by young people
