About Alicia Guzmán León
Alicia Guzmán León is an Ecuadorian based in Quito who has a PhD in public policy and is a Fulbright Fellow. She brings 20 years of experience in research, volunteer organizing, and working with international organizations as well as Indigenous communities in Latin America. She has been taking the lead on substantial parts of our Amazon campaign strategy and is working to build capacity for the whole movement. Her research focuses on a range of environmental issues, including climate finance and water justice.
