About Ashley Stefureak
Ashley Stefureak is an Ojibwe journalist working as a Journalism Associate with Nature Canada, which is supporting them to write stories about nature, environmentalism and Indigenous-led conservation. They are a recent graduate of Carleton University, where they completed a major in honours journalism and a minor in film studies.
Ashley has worked for a number of different publications, such as Capital Current and Look Local Magazine, providing them with both journalistic work, media expertise and social media content.
