David Levy
Dr. David Levy has worked as an applied ecologist for nearly 35 years advising First Nations, the Governments of Canada and BC, non-governmental organizations as well as the private sector. Since 1990 he has operated Levy Research Services Ltd. to provide independent advice in aquatic environmental assessment. Previous assignments have included serving as an expert witness during Exxon Valdez litigation, research director for the Cohen Commission of Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River, and recently as a member of a federal review panel that conducted an independent assessment of the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project. He maintains a strong professional interest in the interactions between climate change and ecosystem management.
