About Farah Qaiser
Farah Qaiser is a genomics researcher by training, and was previously the director of research and Policy at Evidence for Democracy (a non-partisan Canadian non-profit which advocates for evidence-based decision-making in government). She holds a master of science from the University of Toronto. Qaiser has written about the intersection between science, policy and society in op-eds for publications including The Hill Times and the Toronto Star.
