About Jan Gorski
Gorski is a senior analyst with the responsible fossil fuels team at the Pembina Institute, Canada’s leading energy think tank. Prior to joining the Pembina Insitute, Gorski worked in consulting on oil and gas emissions. Through this work he gained a thorough understanding of the technical challenges associated with quantifying emissions. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, both from Carleton University. His graduate research was focused on alternative fuel combustion. He also completed an internship in Stuttgart, Germany, assisting with research at a carbon capture test facility.
