About Julie Mollins
Julie Mollins is a freelance journalist. She served as news editor at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Mexico and at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) in Indonesia. She continues to work from Toronto on a consultancy basis for both CIMMYT and CIFOR. Previously, she worked at Reuters in the United Kingdom and Toronto, and at several other news organizations, including Maclean’s, Canadian Business and MoneySense magazines. She earned a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in cinema studies from Innis College, University of Toronto.
