About Karen Levenson
Karen Levenson is an environmentalist and plant-based activist and author. She worked in the advertising and marketing industry in Canada and the United States for over twenty-five years before becoming a biodiversity campaigner for several Canadian and U.S. nonprofits. She holds an M.F.A. in film and video from York University and kickstarted the women’s studies program at Brandeis University, where she was its first graduate. She currently sits on the board of Canadians for Responsible Food Policy.
