About Katrianna DeSante
Katrianna DeSante is a journalist and photographer based in Vancouver on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Katrianna’s education is rooted in visual and print media. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and Film Studies from the University of Victoria and a Certificate of Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University. She is completing her Master of Journalism at the University of British Columbia. In her work, Katrianna strives to report on topics linked to resilience and longevity, such as the environment, aging, wildlife, health and wellness, and sports. Stanley Park falls victim to climate change
