About Kristine Kowalchuk
Kristine Kowalchuk teaches English and ethics and is an adjunct professor at the University of Alberta. Her research is in the ecohumanities and focuses on food and environmental systems. In 2017, she published Preserving on Paper: Seventeenth-Century Englishwomen’s Receipt Books. Her family runs a non-profit school food program in Edmonton.
