As a climate and environmental justice advocate, Mariam Kapanadze is passionate about sustainable development and social equity. With expertise in human resources and international relations, she brings a unique perspective to finance, climate resilience, and community empowerment. Her work emphasizes the need for financial institutions to prioritize climate solutions and equitable access to resources. Kapanadze believes in partnering with frontline communities, Indigenous groups, and grassroots movements for inclusive climate resilience.Through an interdisciplinary approach, she bridges policy, finance, and grassroots activism, striving for a sustainable and just future. By amplifying marginalized voices and centering environmental justice, Kapanadze works towards positive global change. I am currently an interviewer and researcher at the University of Toronto, spearheading a study to explore how social attitudes are transmitted across generations within families. Our aim is to uncover how these attitudes impact various aspects of life, including work-family dynamics and mental and physical well-being. Additionally, I'm studying a human resources program, which greatly complements my current work.
