About Milan Ilnyckyj
Born in Vancouver, Milan Prazak Ilnyckyj is a PhD candidate at U of T working on finalizing his dissertation on the campus fossil fuel divestment movement at Canadian universities and the role it played in the development of activists. A B.A. graduate of UBC (international relations and political science) and M.Phil graduate of Oxford (international relations), he helped initiate and organize the Toronto350.org campaign for fossil fuel divestment at U of T. Before the PhD he worked for Environment Canada and completed the federal government's Accelerated Economist Training Program.
