She has been a columnist for the Pembroke Daily Observer and a reporter for the Valley Gazette. She loves living near Algonquin Park and supporting rural economic development through her work as a social media manager.
A Cree elder's take on modern resistance
Cree Elder Patrick Etherington went to see the bishop in 1986 at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Moosonee, Ont. As a 30-year-old man, now a father, he walked straight into the local headquarters of the organization that had stolen him from his own parents.
