Patti Sonntag
Patti Sonntag is an investigative journalist and producer, currently working on projects with several news organizations and collaborative journalism centres. As founder of the Institute for Investigative Journalism, she led national collaborative investigations including “Tainted Water," “The Price of Oil,” “Clean Water, Broken Promises," and others that won more than two dozen honors, including a nomination for the Michener Award, and changed laws and policies locally and from coast to coast. She was previously a managing editor in The New York Times’ News Services division, directing a team of editors and writers producing dozens of news and opinion content streams and opinion and analysis sections for the international edition. She is also Quebec regional director for the Canadian Association of Journalists.
