About Sarah Jordaan

Sarah Jordaan is an associate professor of Industrial Ecology & Life Cycle Assessment at the Department of Civil Engineering and Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design, McGill University. Her research develops solutions for a more sustainable energy future. She leads the Energy Technology And Policy Assessment (ETAPA) research group, where life cycle assessment, techno-economic analysis, and technology innovation are developed as decision support tools. Prior to McGill, she held positions at Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University, the Electric Power Research Institute, the University of Calgary, and the University of California, San Diego. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Design from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. in Physics with a minor in Computer Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
