Spencer John Colby is an Ottawa-based photojournalist specializing in news, features, and sports. At a young age his parents gave him a Kodak film camera and it is there he first experienced the joy of focusing on an image and hearing the subtle yet powerful click of what would later be identified as the shutter button.
