About Stephen Clare
Stephen is a writer and researcher dedicated to helping humanity tread more lightly on the earth. His work focuses on creating green jobs and reducing poverty through youth entrepreneurship. Most recently he's worked as a Research Analyst for the U.N. Development Programme in Rwanda and the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization in Panama and as a Studio Y Fellow at Toronto's MaRS Discovery District. Stephen holds an M.Sc. from McGill University and a B.Arts.Sc. from McMaster University.
Youth are preparing to lead in an uncertain future
The student climate strike on March 15 made it clear that young people have had enough. They are no longer waiting for others to secure our future. Students took to the streets on that day because we have big problems to solve and what we’re doing right now isn’t working. It’s time to be bold and innovative. It’s time to try something new.
