Dr. Thomas Axworthy was the senior adviser and then principal secretary to former prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. He is now a distinguished fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto and a member of the Canada’s National Forum for Leadership on Water.
